Crossroads (Beautiful Biker MC Romance Series) - DD Prince Page 0,140

My face hurt from all the smiling.

With us were my dad and Laura, Deacon and Ella, Rider and Jenna, Spencer and Pippa, Brady, Nico, Justice, Edge, Bick, Rudy and Delia, Uncle George, Rob and Bertie Forker, Jolene, Jonathan and Katie. From Colorado, two of my aunts, a cousin, one uncle, and my grandparents (Dad’s parents) came, too.

Christian wore a tux with a black tie and looked amazing with his hair down, until ten minutes after pictures and then he was getting it up into a bun. It was ridiculously hot outside. And he was ridiculously hot in that tuxedo.

My hair was up in a pretty half updo with very loose French braids until the nape of my neck and then a riot of curls with bling as well as white flowers woven in. There were a few strategic tendrils cascading down my hairline too. The hair was courtesy of Jenna who really worked wonders with my request of ‘wedding hair that also has French braids and flowers’.

My classic French manicured nails and makeup had been courtesy of Pippa and I wore a white strapless full-length wedding gown of satin with a layer of sheer tulle over top with little white dots. Yes. Polka dots. I knew he would like it. He did. They were subtle and just for him. It was like fate that this dress was there, the only one of its type and it’d been a teeny bit small in the bust, but it worked.

I felt like a princess. His princess. Under my wedding gown I didn’t wear white shoes. I wore brand new biker boots for the ceremony with rose gold sparkly laces in them. Everyone got a kick out of that, except for maybe my grandmother. She was kind of old-fashioned and titted her tongue at me three times. I had white strappy shoes for the pictures, so she lost her attitude and painted a smile on then.

I arrived in the pink Cadillac with the girls; he turned up in a black limo with all the guys. We’d spent the night apart the night before and I had a blast with the girls, though they were sworn to secrecy at the fact that I didn’t want to drink any alcohol just in case I was already pregnant.

We’d been having unprotected sex for just a few days, but I was taking no chances. My mother got wasted when she was pregnant with me who knew how many times and by the grace of god I was okay now, though Dad told me I was not exactly okay when I was first born. To say the girls were in shock about the fact that Christian was trying to get me pregnant already was an understatement.

Jenna flipped her lid and told me that we should wait at least a year before getting pregnant. Ella loved the idea and started coming up with names (which shocked the shit out of me). Pippa just laughed about it, telling me that she and Spence already decided they weren’t having kids until they were in their thirties.

As part of my last night of single ladyhood, we did, however, go see some male strippers after Delia paid someone a little tip to let me in despite me having ‘forgot’ my ID. The ‘bride’ pageant sash with the tiara helped, too. There was also the fact that I ordered a 7-Up with no booze in it.

I texted him before I went to bed. He was staying on a different floor in the same hotel in Deacon’s room. I asked what he’d done for his last night as a bachelor. He told me the guys had dragged him to a strip joint, but he refused the lap dance. I told him I’d been dragged to one too and that I hadn’t refused mine.

He told me I’d be getting a spanking later. I replied and told him I was only joking, no lap dance, and then phoned him.

“Hey?” he answered, sounding worried.

“Just wanted to hear your voice. Figure we should talk at least once on the phone before we get hitched. See you tomorrow. Love you, Superman. Dream of me.”

“Love you too, Jojo. I will. Sweet dreams, jellybean.”

I’d had the girls decide who got to be my maid of honor and they decided on Ella, probably matching her up with Deacon and because she’d met me first. I didn’t know how they arrived at their decision and didn’t really care. I loved all three of them and
