Cowboy Bikers MC Werewolves - Esther E. Schmidt Page 0,31

starts to push inside me.

We both moan when his thrusts become erratic. I push my hips up to meet every thrust. Our eyes are locked on each other, blue against blue. Love as hot as our breaths as it fills the air around us.

His head falls to the crook of my neck. The feel of his tongue slides over my skin at the spot where he claimed me weeks ago. I’m so close. His teeth sink in and I can feel his dick thicken inside me before jets of warmth hit my womb. Bliss captures the both of us simultaneously and all that’s left is surrendering to the pleasure our bodies are bathing in.

The gentle pulls on my neck fade until they are replaced by soft kisses. He pushes himself up and our gaze yet again collides. There are so many words to say, so much meaning, and yet a mere look allows enough understanding to know we’re thinking the same thing.

Love. Future. Together as one. And who knows, tonight could be the start of expanding our love in our near future. Though whatever comes our way–expanding whichever our lives are graced with–we’ll be sure to go slow and fast forward at the same time.

Slow and fast; relishing in tender moments while skipping over difficulties before handling them together. The complexity of my family and the background along with it has taught me that anything in life is possible.

My parents have supported me when I wanted a partial human life. It’s the exact same thing with Figor who chose his own path for his pack. A rancher, a cowboy who turns into a werewolf and loves to run, ride horses as well as a bike. It doesn’t matter how you decorate life it’s ours to throw paint on the walls, be brave and pick bright colors to brighten our life at times of darkness.

The glowing blue in my mate’s eyes is a beacon for my love. A will to always carry on; together.

EPILOGUE

Twenty years later

– FIGOR –

“But you don’t understand,” Opal snaps and releases a deep sigh as she starts to pace the room again.

“Oh, I understand all right. And you know what? You remind me of your father when he saw us together for the first time all those years ago.”

She stops midstride and huffs, “I am not my father.”

I try to hold back my laughter because this is serious shit, but when you see it in black and white it’s about a parent looking out for their kid. And I love her even more for it since it involves our nineteen-year-old daughter who found her mate.

The first of our kids and I do think it’s the hardest to be confronted with the fact she’s not our little girl any longer. Maybe it would have been different if our firstborn was a son, but it’s not. And we have four children, three sons and our oldest daughter, Mabel, who we’re now discussing.

“Are you not trying to judge our daughter’s mate?” I raise my eyebrow in challenge.

She steps closer and jabs a finger against my chest to punctuate each word when she says, “He. Is. A. Human. It’s impossible. She’s immortal and it will lead to a disaster. I’m trying to protect her, and the human for that matter.”

I simply shrug. “Our daughter has half my genes, she’s been shifting since she was a kid and will possibly turn him during their mating. We will talk them through everything and be there for guidance during the process to make sure his transition goes fluently.”

“That’s my point,” she screeches. “So many things can go wrong.”

“And it was your father who judged about werewolves and how many times that goes wrong. Expecting the worst isn’t exactly living a positive life. And hey, the kid has two dads and one mother, living life at a certain standard isn’t how he’s been brought up in the first place. And I’ve known these people a large chunk of our lives. Hell, you’ve known them for almost twenty years too, they’re good people. Again, with the right guidance everything will work out fine.”

Her shoulders sag. “We never should have taken our kids to their yearly barbeque. Even when they were kids they clung together. I knew it then, and I know it now. But…dammit, I wish I could look into the future, then I would know if it’s all going to be worth it.”

I cup the back of her neck and drag her close. “You can’t.
