Caught Between Three Billionaire Tycoons - Willa Hart Page 0,58
want to deal with the whole idea she had a boyfriend. That there might be some shmuck in the world she would choose over me.
Then I really had my challenge. Not just some unknown quantity, a man who was only a shadow, but two very real men—bears.
Known to me only by their enmity. How could I have seen them as anything other than rivals?
Whitney leaned against my arm, smiling up at me. Her eyes were so soft and warm, the smile so sweet, it tugged at my chest.
All I had ever wanted to do was to make her this happy. I thought I could do it all on my own, not only that I could, but that I should. The idea of complicating the situation with others—let alone enemies—was not one I could swallow.
Even if we had not done our blood pact, I believed that eventually we would have enmity to her will. No matter what passed between us, all we really wanted was to see her smiling like that, every day of her life.
The blood pact sealed our bears to honor. If we had not completed the pact, then our human sides might have never made peace. The bears within us would rage for the ancient tides that have always swelled in our blood.
I waited for the kids to be distracted, then slipped out of bed, grabbing a robe. Whitney looked in no hurry to move, and I wouldn’t disturb her. I wanted to give the kids the option of coming downstairs, even if only to give the others a minute to dress.
“Does anyone want cocoa?” I addressed the kids, but the entire room answered.
“Oh, I’m sweet already, thanks.” Zavier joked.
“You could bring me some coffee.” Daire stretched out luxuriously, grinning at me.
“I’ll have cocoa.” Whitney looked up at me, sweet, beautiful, stunning. My smile would not leave my face.
“The rainbow’s going away,” Adara murmured. Whitney sat up and cuddled her as they both looked out the window.
“It will come back, sweetheart.” Whitney said gently. “There will be so many more rainbows for us to see.”
“Together?” Asked Adara hesitantly.
“Of course, together.” Whitney drew Adara close to her for a big hug.
Adara raised her head and sniffed Whitney’s shoulder, a little frown on her face.
“You smell like daddy. And Zavier and Daire too.” Her little eyes darted around the room as if affirming she had the scent right and yes, it was all over Whitney.
“Are you my mommy now?” Adara whispered.
“Yes, Adara.” Whitney pulled the little girl into her lap and rocked her and rocked her. They both started to cry.
“I’m your Mommy. From now until forever.”
Even Egan couldn’t hold himself apart from such a scene. He jumped on Whitney and hugged them tight. Zavier and Daire put their arms around them to and I pressed myself against the warm press of bodies.
I expected to feel awkward or uncomfortable, but I didn’t. It just felt right.
All of it, every single part, just felt right.

It was late morning by the time I finally emerged. I wanted to stretch out in bed, shower slowly and dress comfortably, lingering on every action.
My life had changed. I knew that. It was just as catastrophic as a bomb blowing up your apartment building. You couldn’t go back. It all had to change.
I felt like a different woman to the one I was a few days ago. I caressed my own lips as I put my sweater on, my skin full of memories.
My men. How they touched me, so much passion and fire. Such gentleness, holding back such unimaginable power.
I hurried downstairs to find Zavier and the kids working on some coloring books. They had stickers and crayons sprawled across the table and I sat down eagerly.
“What are we doing?” I asked with enthusiasm.
“Making colors.” Adara looked at me like I was the simplest creature in the universe. Zavier grinned at me, rubbing Adara’s back as he handed her another set of stickers.
“Be gentle with Aunt Winny.” Zavier said jokingly. “She had a long night and needed to sleep in.”
Adara looked up at him seriously.
“She’s not Aunt Winny anymore. She’s Mommy.”
My heart seemed to constrict in my chest. I threw my arms around her and almost cried. I had never felt such intense joy as I did at that moment, knowing I had this little girl’s trust and love.
“Where’s Egan?” I asked as I pulled back out of the hug.
“Down here.” I looked curiously over the table to see him on the floor with a selection
