and back again, over and over.

She was begging him to stop again, and he wouldn't pay any closer attention to those pleas than he had the ones she'd made while he was disciplining her. He wanted her to come, so she would come.

And she did—loudly. Explosively. Ecstatically. And addictively, for him. If he could, he'd make her do this all day, every day, just so he could watch her in the throes of a pleasure that he had brought her to.

He nearly became so enthralled with hers that he forgot his own, but his body demanded he pick up the pace, and he did, giving her a devilish grin and reaching beneath her to grasp her welted cheeks, which caused her to try to lift herself away from his hands and only succeeded in driving him further into her.

It was that which set him off—her gasp of pain, then a groan of delight, and the slamming of her hips up against his as she took even more of him just as he was demanding exactly that of her. Adam threw back his head and gave a primitive cry that rivaled hers in volume and strength, then continued to pump himself into her, growling low with each thrust.

He held her for a long while, neither of them wanting to move, until he noticed that she was shaking with cold."

"Aw, baby, why didn't you say something?" he asked. "I should spank you for not."

"No!" She looked truly alarmed, and he smiled, folding his jacket around her and buttoning it up until she was swimming in it as he got her some warmer clothes and dressed her in them himself.

Then he built a fire and sat down with her in front of it; he held her close to him as she shook and trembled for a while, loving the way she clung to him, despite the condition of her backside.

"Okay?" he asked, and Laurie recognized the real concern in his tone.

She nodded, not feeling as if she could trust her voice.

There was absolutely no rush for them to do anything, so he simply held her, which he reveled in as one of the greatest joys in his life.

His stomach, however, had other ideas, protesting its emptiness very loudly in the quiet.

"Hungry?" he asked.

"Yes, please," she whispered.

Adam lifted her, pressing his lips to her temple as he put her down on the chair he'd vacated, having provided her with a fluffy cushion for her to sit on. And he noted with a slight smile that she was even gingerly perched on that. "You sit there and get warm. I'll make us dinner."

"But—"

Adam laid a finger along her jaw and tipped her eyes to his, giving her an eyebrow-raised look. "Are you really going to argue with me after that, Laur?"

"No, Sir," she replied obediently. "But can I help?"

He dropped a kiss on those beautiful, slightly swollen lips. "Nope. Got it all planned out and everything's prepped. Nothing to do but the cooking."

He made steak tips, with onions and peppers—because he knew she didn't like mushrooms—with baked potatoes and rolls, and he even brought her favorite dessert, Napoleons, from that little bakery that had done their cake.

"You spoil me, Sir," she groaned as she bit into one while they were snuggled around the fire.

Adam grinned. "I don't know how you can say that to me with a straight face while you're sitting on what must be a very uncomfortable bum!"

She stuck her cream covered tongue out at him, but he was too busy enjoying his own sweet treat.

Chapter 12

When the wedding was over—and the honeymoons, too, which had taken a bit of time to work around everyone's work schedules—things returned to a semblance of what was, for them, normalcy, and they all enjoyed that. The unusual hubbub of the wedding was fine for a while, but they were all glad it was over, and when she and Jace got back from their trip to the Pacific Northwest, she was glad that her days of traveling were done for a while, too.

Laurie thought she'd gotten the better end of things, though—she thought she'd gotten the better end of things overall, too, considering that she had three tall, strong, handsome men dancing attendance on her. The punishments—when she wasn't in the midst of one—were more than worth it, and she certainly was better behaved than she'd ever been in her life because of them.

She'd seen a lot of new places she'd never been to before.

They had agreed,
