The Brothers Rule - Carolyn Faulkner Page 0,14
had never had so much sex in her life! So much amazing, incredible, orgasmic sex!
"Oh, boo hoo!" Her girlfriend, Melita, had absolutely no sympathy for her. "Wah—everybody wants me! Wah—three gorgeous men are exhausting me by giving me multiple orgasms seven days a week! Wah!" She snorted. "Meanwhile, Hop the Flop can't even get it up!"
She tried not to laugh at the way her friend characterized her hapless husband, but she couldn't help it. The two of them had met and gotten married in a whirlwind, and it had fizzled out just as quickly, especially once she'd had a baby. "I couldn't get him to give me an orgasm—even just one, mind you—to save his life! I don't think he can even find my clit anymore! If it's not on frickin' Google Map, satellite view, I'm screwed! Or rather, not screwed!"
Laurie nearly spewed her drink at her friend at that. "Stop, unless you'd like to be wearing a tequila sunrise!"
Melita was still frowning fiercely. "I hate you, you know."
"I know," Laurie returned with patently false sympathy. "And I am sorry about Hop. But we talk about what a disappointment he is all the time. I've never in my life had so much male attention! I'm friggin' chafed, for fuck's sake!"
She glared at her friend. "And if you say one more unhelpful 'boo-hoo', I'm going to smack you."
Lita sighed. "All right. So, regale me with your stories of how they make you faint every time, how they're all hung like horses, and yet how they always manage to treat you like a lady, except when you don't want to be?"
Laurie bit her lip, actually managing to look abashed at what her friend had said. "Well, you've kind of just taken the words right out of my mouth."
Her friend looked downright murderous at that.
She took a sip of her iced tea. "Well, it's not like there aren't downsides," Laurie said as she gingerly adjusted her position, even on the comfily cushioned booth seats.
"Oh yeah?" Lita looked skeptical, as well she should.
"Yeah, like I said, I'm exhausted and chafed all the time."
A French fry smacked against her cheek.
"I don't think I can be friends with you anymore."
Laurie snorted. "Of course, you can. You're living vicariously through me—don't you deny it."
"Well…" her friend allowed reluctantly.
The truth—Laurie was almost ashamed to admit—really wasn't that far off from how Lita had characterized it, either time. Although, the multiple orgasms that very nearly made her faint weren't seven days a week. They were more like four or sometimes five times a week. Which was almost—but not quite—more than enough for her.
She was nowhere near ready to cry uncle yet. Nor was she spending much time trying to decide which brother she'd choose, either, she was ashamed to admit. She'd be perfectly happy going on seeing all three of them for as long as they were okay with it, too. She really couldn't have come up with anyone she'd want to give up—they were all incredible men, and they were all different in bed, too.
Adam and Jace were the two more overtly dominant, but Ryan was no slouch, either, although she thought he probably had the least experience in it. He more than made up for that with his enthusiasm, though. Jace had been the first to discover that she liked to be spanked and was a submissive, but it hadn't taken the other two long to find that out, either, and it seemed that they were all into it!
So, she had ended up—as she'd wondered if she would—with three Doms, all who had relatively similar rules for her, which she supposed wasn't all that surprising. Since they were raised in the same environment, it wasn't unusual that they'd want to see the same kinds of behaviors from her, or wouldn't tolerate others.
Jace hated it when she swore—that's what she got in trouble with him about the most. Ryan was all over her if he thought she was putting herself down in any way, and Adam somehow brought out a bratty side in her that she wouldn't have said she owned. But she impishly made him ride herd on her more so than either of the two others, challenging his authority frequently, and of course, he met those challenges each and every time with a firm swat—or fifty—to her backside.
And he, along with his brothers, was always up for correcting her, and none of them went easy on her, as she'd told them early on she didn't want
