I spread my arms and wait. Already I feel the change within me.
Grace places her hands on my shoulders. Stepping in the stirrup, she swings her other leg around. I grab her by the waist and gently lower her to the ground. We say nothing as she leans against Chesty’s flank and stares up at me with tempestuous eyes filled with far too much doubt.
I grip the back of her neck and trap her between myself and the horse, taking control. Sweeping her hair aside, I press my lips just behind her ear and breathe in the light floral scent of her shampoo. Her breaths accelerate, as does the beating of my heart. She reaches up to grip the saddle, and I envision her eyes closing as she takes in a deep breath.
“Turn around.” Low and throaty, I issue the first command.
Grace spins around, and I kiss along her neck, nibbling and licking until her entire body trembles. I move her hair to the side and kiss up along the other side of her neck until I suck the softness of her ear into my mouth. Using my teeth, I bite down gently as my breaths accelerate, and all reason flees.
My body brackets hers, closing her in between myself and Chesty. Grace moans and arches against me. Her ass presses against the tightness in my jeans, brushing my cock and bringing a groan to my mouth.
Fuck it. I lose all restraint.
I wrap my hand around her waist and spin her around until she faces me. I tug her tight, and before she can react, my lips crash down on hers, claiming her mouth.
Chesty stomps the ground and snorts as I devour Grace’s mouth. I expect more hesitation, but Grace reaches between us and cups my cheeks. She lifts on tiptoe and kisses me back.
I nearly lose it when she practically forces her tongue down my throat. Didn’t think I’d be the one slowing us down, but if we don’t stop soon, there will be only one way this ends. I kiss her back, reclaiming control, as I remove her hands from my face and place them on my hips.
I never want to end this kiss. I want to taste her forever, but I made a promise. Severing our connection, I take a step back. Puffy and swollen, her lips glisten with moisture.
“Let me tie Chesty up; then we’ll go to our spot.” We’re supposed to talk. Hell, if that’s what I want to do after that kiss…
Grace nibbles at her lower lip and shoves her hands in the back pockets of her jeans. Her attention never wavers as I secure Chesty to the same low limb I tied Spirit to. Spirit already grazes at the fresh grass near his hooves. Chesty follows before I’m done.
Our special rock is a short distance off the path, something unnoticed by those who hike these trails. It’s something we discovered together and made ours.
“Come.” I take her hand and lead her into the brush, holding branches out of her way as she slips under my arm.
She continues to worry her lower lip with her teeth, driving me crazy. I can’t stop looking at her mouth and nearly trip over numerous rocks and roots along our path.
The thick brush finally opens as we step out onto a massive rock ledge. Late afternoon, half the valley lies in shadow. Behind us, the sun sinks toward the horizon. We still have several hours until sunset, more than enough time to talk, or fuck. With the heat spiking between us, it’s more than likely we’ll fuck and forget about talking.
“I forgot how incredible the view is from up here.” Fearlessly, Grace walks right up to the edge.
The ledge juts out from the ridge and leads to a hundred-foot drop. The view is spectacular, but that’s because I’m looking at her ass.
She sits and dangles her feet over the edge. It used to anger me when she did that. My need to protect her at all costs consumed me, but she always insisted on sitting at the edge.
But that’s Grace.
She’s fearless.
I join her, and our thighs touch as we kick our heels against the rock.
“It feels good being here with you.” I nudge her with my shoulder.
“How often do you come here?” Soft, inquisitive, her question reveals some of her fear. She wants to know if I’ve ever brought another girl up here, but she won’t ask outright. Nevertheless, her question takes me by surprise.
I never come up here.
“The
