club ended, that I wouldn’t say something, impose my thoughts on the situation. And I suspected she’d speak her mind if the roles were reversed.
“Sweet? Some might call me a controlling psycho after spewing all that.”
“Not me. And isn’t my opinion the only one that matters?” She leaned over and moved her hand to rest on the seat between my legs, cupping my balls a second later. Then she moved her hand up and to the left and gripped me. “I can’t wait to taste you.” Her lips pressed against my earlobe. “I can’t wait for Andy to taste you too.”
“Oh, fuck,” I groaned, the combination of her words and the way she stroked me through my jeans enough to almost make me run off the road. “Stop.” I grabbed her hand and held it against my stomach. “If you wanna make it to the hotel alive and in one piece, you’ll stop teasing me. Save it for when we get there.”
“You’re no fun.” She pouted, situating herself back into her seat.
“You won’t be sayin’ that in a little bit.”
The arrangements had been made to meet Andy in her hotel room at ten, which was only fifteen minutes from now. Traffic wasn’t heavy, but the same couldn’t be said about the nerves swirling through me. I was excited, yet I was also apprehensive, which wasn’t like me. Then again, I’d never had a three-way with a woman I had deep feelings for before either.
When I finally pulled into the parking lot of the hotel, I couldn’t stop the overwhelming feeling I was gonna stick out like a sore thumb. I’d been torn on whether to wear my cut, not wanting to draw unnecessary attention to myself, as if that could be completely avoided in the first place, and wanting everyone to know exactly what club I belonged to. In the end, I decided against it, only wearing jeans and a white T-shirt, and of course my trusty worn-in brown boots.
“Of course, she’d have to stay in a place that probably costs a fortune,” I mumbled as I found a spot. I stepped out of my truck soon afterward and was on her side a moment later, holding the door for her as she exited.
“Andy always has to have the best, including accommodations.” Her tone wasn’t sarcastic or scathing or anything of the sort. She was simply stating facts about her friend… I meant her ex. Although, they were just friends now, had been friends with benefits until I came along. Then again, both Andy and Zoe were cashing in those benefits once more tonight.
With her palm in mine, we strode through the doors and headed straight for the bank of elevators. I didn’t have time to take in the opulence of the grand lobby with its several chandeliers and marble flooring, not to mention the huge staircase as soon as we entered. Okay, so maybe I noticed a few details before we stepped inside the elevator.
“What floor is she on?”
“Eighteenth,” she answered, fidgeting with her hair.
“Nervous?” I tightened my hold on her hand and she looked up at me.
“No. Kind of.” A small smile found its way to her mouth. “Are you?”
“Not in the way you think.” I watched as each new floor number lit up the screen above the doors, counting right along with the digital display.
“What does that mean?”
“I’m not even sure myself.” I tugged her into me, needing to feel her against me. I needed her silent assurance nothing was gonna change between us after we did this, even though she had no idea that’s what I craved from her since I never bothered to tell her in the first place. I’d divulged my crazy thoughts to her once today, I wasn’t about to have a repeat. She’d run for sure.
The chime of the elevator car sounded, alerting us we’d arrived at our designated floor. As soon as the metal doors parted, I stepped to the side, waving my arm out in front of me to allow Zoe to exit first.
“Such a gentleman,” she murmured, smiling at me before she stepped into the hallway.
I followed, leaning down close to her ear. “That’s the last time I’ll be one tonight.” I smacked her ass and she gasped, but she reeled it in right before she knocked on Andy’s hotel room door, which was conveniently located right around the corner from the elevator.
The door swung open and her ex stood there in a short, white robe, her belt loosely
