have enough of her.
As she rolled over and laid her head on his chest she said, “I’m so glad you won.”
He arched his brow and said, “Won?”
Gianna raised herself to rest on an elbow and looked down at him. “The competition. But I have to tell you, I think it was rigged.”
“Wait, are you telling me that I wasn’t the sexiest cowboy there?” he asked.
“Oh you definitely were, but I have a feeling it wouldn’t have matter if you were wearing a tuxedo instead. Those two ladies were definitely plotting.”
Jordan smiled. “I like them even more now,” he said as he wrapped an arm around Gianna and pulled her back down to him. “Now, how many more condoms did you say you have?”
“Plenty to keep us awake all night,” she laughed.
He couldn’t resist and said, “Yee-haw.”

Gianna found it very hard not to look at Jordan but every time she did, she smiled. This was supposed to be a business meeting. No flirting was permitted. It wasn’t as though his brothers didn’t know they were involved, but there was a lot riding on this.
Pressing the button she flipped slides on her presentation. “As you can see, Today & Tomorrow does have the staffing capabilities to meet a variety of your business needs.”
Charles nodded and said, “Rosslyn can’t say enough about you. The temporary staff utilized by Grayson Corp has proven to be invaluable to her. Since we are pretty much in the same line of business, how will you prioritize Lawson Steel?”
This was where it became complicated. Normally one client didn’t have all the details from another. She had no simple answer, and when she looked around the table, she saw Jordan smiling. He was enjoying her being under the spotlight.
Gianna turned back to Charles and in a serious tone said, “I would suggest you and Rosslyn flip a coin for it.”
Charles looked surprised, and then the entire room burst out in laughter. He said, “I like that better than what Rosslyn said.”
“Whatever it is, I’m sure she meant it,” Dylan teased.
“No doubt about that. She’s the sweetest and toughest woman I’ve ever met,” Charles declared.
“I don’t know. My wife isn’t a push over either,” Gareth stated.
“Nor is mine,” Ethan added.
Dylan and Seth added their wives into the mix. She was enjoying their banter until they all turned to Jordan who was sitting there quietly.
“Hey, this is a business meeting. Or have you all forgotten?” Jordan stated.
Gianna chuckled softly as they all gave him shit for using that line on them. Eventually she regained their attention and the meeting was over. When she got up to leave she said, “I look forward to hearing from you regarding your decision.”
“I don’t see why we need to wait. Let’s vote now?” Jordan suggested.
She shot him a warning look. Earlier that morning she’d reminded him of his promise. Gianna wanted to earn this on her own merit. Now Jordan was pressuring them, and worse, it was happening in front of her.
“Please, take your time. You know how to reach me,” she stated.
Charles said, “I agree with Jordan. No point in delaying it. You have my vote.”
One by one, they all provided theirs as well. Jordan said, “Great. Seth, why don’t you draw up the contract and I’ll take this beautiful woman out for dinner to celebrate?”
“Jordan, you know I’m can’t do that. I’m going back to the office.”
“It’s four o’clock. What are you really going to get done now?” he asked.
Gianna smiled and said, “I don’t know if you heard, but I just took a large client on and I want to make sure my staff is ready to meet their needs.”
Jordan sat down. “Can I change my vote,” he said jokingly.
Seth laughed. “I like her more and more.”
The meeting broke up and Jordan walked her down to the lobby. “I hope you’re not angry with me.”
She turned to him and said, “Jordan, I told you I take my business very seriously. But no, I’m not angry. Your family dynamic is wonderful, but I know they wouldn’t have hired me if they didn’t believe I could do the job.”
“Good, because you really are the best person for this job.”
She stepped closer and whisper, “You seem to think I’m the best at a few things.”
Jordan’s eyes became dark and he said, “Keep it up and we’ll be celebrating with dessert first.”
“I’ll look forward to it. But I really need to get back to the office. I should be home around seven. Will you be…coming by?”
