Alien Brute's Captive - Aya Morningstar Page 0,3

another voice cries. It’s a woman.

I reset my auto-cannon to kill the man only and spare the hostage. I keep auto-kill disabled, just in case he’s too close to the hostage. I walk through the door, pointing my arm straight forward so the cannon will have a clear line of fire.

I see him now, standing up, with his gun pointed at a woman.

A human woman. The first pure woman I’ve ever been this close to. I immediately lower my visor, not wanting her scent to reach my nose. It’s hard to tear my eyes off her, though. She’s got dark black hair and pale white skin. Her face is entirely devoid of the orange markings that run in patterns along a Cygnian or halfbreed’s face. And something about the shape of her is absolutely sinful. It’s impossible for my eyes not to trace her outline--the shape of her hips and breasts. I force my eyes up, toward the man.

“I have auto-cannon trained on you,” I say. “If you throw your weapon down, it won’t kill you. If you so much as point your weapon in my direction, you will die.”

“Walk away,” he says. “The defense grid will be up soon. If you leave now, you’ll have--”

Without warning, he points the gun toward me.

It’s not up to me. The auto cannon fires, putting a bullet between his eyes. He drops to the floor dead.

The woman screams. She starts to run.

I chase her.

It’s impossible not to look at her ass as she runs from me. Literally impossible. I have to keep tearing my eyes away, looking up and over her shoulder, but they just find their way right back down to that alluring shape of her backside. She’s wearing a skin-tight jumpsuit, which doesn’t help one bit.

“Stop!” I shout. “I’m not going to hurt you.”

Yeah. I won’t hurt you, because if I do, you’ll be worth less money.

I’m much faster than her, and I close the head start she got on me in just a few seconds. I grab her by the waist, not wanting her to trip and crack her head open on one of the other cryo chambers.

She squeals and wails, hitting her puny fists against me as I pull her against me to keep her steady. I could just hoist her over my shoulder, but this will all go faster if I can just convince her to come with me willingly.

“Hey, hey,” I say, turning up the charm. “I’m not going to hurt you, I promise.”

“Then let me go!” she shouts.

The feel of her hips and waist against me is...God, I don’t know what it is. It’s too much. It’s unbearable. I thank the stars my face plate is shut, sealing me off from her poisonous scent. It only took one whiff of a human male for Aria to leave her entire life behind, including me. A pure human’s scent strips a Cygnian of free will. Though her body…

I feel my cock getting hard as she squirms against me. My cock never had free will.

I let her go.

She doesn’t run this time. Either she’s starting to trust me, or she realizes I can catch her again just as easily.

She looks up at me, meeting my eyes for the first time.

A Cygnian’s eyes are pure blue, but human eyes come in all colors. Hers are a dark green, like some kind of precious stone. I find myself just staring at them, my jaw hanging open. I force it shut, and then I smile.

“I have no idea where I am,” she says. “I have no idea what year it is. I thought Jason was my friend, but then he put a gun to my head. What the hell are you? I’m going to lose my mind if someone doesn’t tell me what’s going on here.”

“I’m Krakon,” I say. “I was sent to rescue you.”

She is clueless. This is good for me. She probably wasn’t a willing colonist. Since she doesn’t even know what I am, she must have been frozen prior to first contact.

“I was sent to rescue you,” I say.

“Rescue...me?” She points to herself.

“Yep,” I say.

I read the name on her suit. Catherine.

“You’re Catherine, right?”

“How do you know my name?”

“It’s very complicated,” I say. “I won’t use that as an excuse to hide things from you, but we need to move quickly to get you off this ship. Ask me anything and I’ll tell you the truth.”

I smile. I feel no remorse at lying to a human. Well, when I
