Yes Boss (Billionaire Bosses #4) - Miley Maine Page 0,31

can feel is the slap of skin on skin, and all I can hear is our harsh breathing echoing in my ears. The world is spinning and I wish I could just stay here forever, buried deep within Opal.

But things must come to an end. I feel my balls tightening as Opal shudders beneath me, her orgasm as close as mine. I close my eyes and rut into her until pleasure rises and explodes over me, my vision temporarily whitening as I thrust my way through it, jerking into her body as she cries out. She digs her nails into my shoulders, her entire body trembling from the force of her own orgasm.

I thrust in deeply one last time, and then still. I’m panting, out of breath. We both groan as I collapse beside Opal on the large couch, breathless and sated. I still feel dizzy and confused, not at all sure where all that just came from, but I can’t bring myself to regret it just now.

If anything, I just feel tired. And I’m not the only one. Opal yawns so widely that she almost cracks her jaw.

“I’m exhausted,” she groans, sitting up and reaching for a blanket on the couch. “Let’s just cover up with this and deal with it in the morning.”

The idea is so tempting, despite the voice screaming that we need to figure this out now before it becomes any worse.

Sleep, though. I close my eyes as Opal drags the blanket over us both and settle further into the couch. Sleep is good now.

I can hear odd sounds nearby. I twitch, confused, because why the hell are there sounds in my house when I’m the only one here? Perhaps it’s Princess? But why is she making a fuss now? She has food and water, and she can get to part of the yard to do her business, so it shouldn’t be her.

But I can still hear the noises, an odd banging and scraping sound, and then the distant sound of glass. I frown and open my eyes slowly.

For a moment, I panic, not sure why I’m waking up on an unfamiliar couch in an even more unfamiliar room. After a moment, I recognize my surroundings. This is the private room I rent from the Legend Bar, a place where I can sit and relax. Although, I don’t often come here unless I have people with me. I very rarely use this room as a result.

I feel someone shift beside me and freeze, suddenly realizing, from the feel of soft, bare skin brushing against mine, that I’m completely naked under the blanket covering me.

I slept with someone last night. I feel an odd moment of panic. I had sworn to my father that those days of pointless one-night stands were over. How could I be so stupid? I’m the new CEO of a company, but I allowed some floozy to seduce me!

I hesitate, and then peer under the blanket at the face of the woman beside me. It’s then that I get my second shock.

It’s Opal.

“What the fuck?” I whisper.

Then, with the force of a bag of bricks, memories slam me. Sitting in the bar, drinking scotch alone. Opal approaching, drunk and a little wobbly, demanding I leave. Somehow going from that to kissing frantically. Then making our way to this room, falling on the couch, and fucking desperately until we both curled around one another and passed out.

Well.

Fuck.

Opal is going to murder me.

Shit, what do I do? Part of me wants to flee before she wakes, but she’s already been disturbed by my movements. Eyes still closed, she stretches languidly, still unaware that she isn’t alone.

Opal is my employee. I can’t believe I allowed this to happen!

I can’t think about it right now. At this moment, I need to stop freaking out and come up with a plan of action. One that will give me room to think about this a little more later.

I force myself to sit calmly as Opal finally opens her eyes with a yawn. I see the exact moment recollection slams into her, too, as her eyes go impossibly wide and her head snaps around to look at me. I wonder if her headache is as bad as mine is?

“W-What…?” she stammers, looking utterly horrified. “How…?”

“Wait,” I say, holding up a hand. “I don’t know exactly why this happened, but it happened. Let’s put it behind us and forget about it. Go back to our jobs and pretend that it never
