Wolf's Hunger (Mafia Monsters #5) - Atlas Rose Page 0,88

clit, circling. “To me.”

I was blown apart by the heat, bucking my hips against his cock and his fingers. Tears slipped down my cheeks as savage desire burned in my veins. I couldn’t stop myself from lowering my head, rocking back into the cruel thrusts.

I wanted him to hurt me…like I'd hurt him. “Harder.”

Big hands gripped my hips, lifting me until my boots left the floor. He turned me like I weighed nothing, then took me to the floor in the middle of Walker’s living room. With a frenzied yank of my boots, they were torn from my feet and flung across the room, hitting something with a thud.

My pants were next, shoved down and slid from my legs until I was bare beneath him. He was all I could see, rising above me like a god. Those piercing silver eyes found mine, flicking to the tears sliding down my cheeks as he flinched.

But he said nothing more, just drove his powerful body between my legs. I jolted hard against the floor with the impact and my hands went around his thick wrists, feeling the muscles tense under his thrusts.

There was no stopping this time, no holding back. I opened my thighs wider, lifting my feet to wrap around his waist. The curl of his lips made my pulse race faster. His beast was there, riding close to the surface.

That foul Unseelie hunger called to him, spilling from my body to lick the air. Phantom let out a growl as he plunged between my legs, riding the edge of pleasure with unforgiving, merciless thrusts. “Say it.” He forced the words through clenched teeth.

I stared up at him, my body taking every brutal blow. “I belong to you.”

His lips curled and his fangs grew long.

I knew there was no running from him. No matter what I said, there was nowhere this male wouldn’t find me, nowhere he wouldn’t hunt me down. Desire was a beast between us, making him roll his hips, drawing a heated gasp from my lips.

I was his…

Body, mind, and soul.

My Wolves.

No matter what.

My breaths deepened, catching as my orgasm barreled down on me. He let out a growl, driving me to the brink of no return. I gripped his wrists, clenching until I lost control. He lowered his head and let out a dangerous sound as he bucked and twitched, spilling warmth inside me.

He stayed like that for a moment as his heavy breaths eased, then he slowly pulled out.

My hold around his wrists slipped away, leaving him to ease back. I didn’t dare take my gaze from his, watching as he rose from the floor in one fluid move and adjusted his jeans. He looked away as a tortured look descended. “I just have one question.”

My heart pounded in my chest.

“Why?” He turned to me once more. “Why did you have to betray them?”

I flinched at the emptiness in his tone.

He knew.

He knew…

I opened my mouth to answer, but there were no words. None that would make sense to him…or me. Chaos ruled in that moment. “Phantom…” I started, then stopped.

There was a bitter chuckle before he turned and strode from apartment. Stunned, I just lay there, bare, cold…and utterly alone.

The door quietly opened and closed once more. He may as well have torn the damn thing from its hinges and slammed the remnants to the floor. I slowly pushed up to my feet as that cruel emptiness swallowed me.

I'd tried to run from him by coming to Walker’s apartment, tried to hide from the things I’d done. Now they were right here in front of me. I picked up my clothes and went into the bathroom. What was that? He refused to let me go…then walked out. I hurried using the toilet and yanked my clothes back on.

I had to find him, had to explain what had happened. I yanked on my boots, grabbed Arran’s and Walker's keys, and locked the door behind me as I ran from the apartment. But by the time I raced down the stairs and out of the building, there was no sign of him.

I raced for the Jeep, unlocked the four-wheel drive, and climbed in, starting the engine in a second and shoving it into gear. I pulled out into the traffic, working the gears as the rain beat against the windshield. The Hunting Ground, that’s where he’d go. My pulse was racing, my frantic thoughts were all over the place, replaying every word he'd said to me.

We weren’t
