Wolf's Hunger (Mafia Monsters #5) - Atlas Rose Page 0,47
gaze, finding Arran’s seed on me. “Alpha,” I murmured.
He jerked his gaze to mine. Heat burned between us. I’d had him deep inside me mere hours ago, his cock claiming my desire, his scent on my skin, invading my lungs with every breath, and still it hadn’t been enough. It’d never be enough.
“They want to talk to you,” Phantom growled.
“They?”
He swallowed. “They want to know what the FBI knows about the warehouse. Apparently, there was DNA testing.”
I stilled in an instant, my thoughts colliding as memories slipped in. Then it dawned on me. I forced a breath, the corners of my lips curling. “There was.”
Phantom had never asked, even now he wasn’t asking. He was giving me the option to play nice to our hosts. “Can you give me five?”
One nod of his head and I turned to Vitold, leaning close to kiss him. “Thank you.”
Arran was next, his body hot against mine as I cupped his strong jaw and kissed those perfect lips. “You are perfect to me.”
“As you are to us,” Vitold answered, giving the Alpha a nod before striding toward the small kitchen and yanking open the fully stocked refrigerator, still bare-assed and gorgeous.
I headed for the bathroom and closed the door. I hurried to use the toilet and wiped. Then I grabbed the washcloth and shoved it under the faucet. So she wanted to talk, eh? Wanted to find out what dark secrets the FBI knew, secrets like her inhuman DNA. I lifted my gaze to the mirror and smiled. Check. Mate.
I washed quickly, swiping the cloth between my legs, and hurried to use the towel before yanking my clothes on again. Wonder how much her Vampire knew? I guessed there was only one way to find out.
I dragged a brush through my hair and winced at the knots, resigned myself to having to deal with them later, and strode from the bathroom. “I’m ready.”
But Phantom was waiting, pouncing on me as soon as I stepped out, and pulled me close. “Seeing you like that, my pack’s cum all over that perfect pussy of yours, you have no idea what that does to me. When Walker and Church return, I want you in here instantly. No all-girls’ night, no catching up. Just you, naked, legs spread, waiting for me.”
My heart thundered. “That sounds like a command, Alpha.”
He took a step even closer, pushing me up against the doorway, his tone all dark seduction. “Female, you don’t want to find out what will happen if I have to hunt you down.”
My pulse sped at the words as he inhaled hard and adjusted himself. “Your body is mine tonight…all fucking night long.”
He turned and headed for the entrance, that powerful body slicing through the sheer curtains as they flapped and danced in the constant breeze. I followed, licking my arid lips, remembering the time I’d crossed the bridge, to find myself in Phantom’s bed. The night he fucked me until I forgot who I was…and found a new purpose.
My bare feet were quiet on the concrete as I followed my Alpha into the mansion once more. I took more notice this time, taking in the minimal and expensive furniture. So the Wolves hid out in a cave with no hot water, and the Vampires got this? I turned the corner and lifted my gaze to the living room and the crackling fire.
Shadows moved in the corner of the room. The Vampire leader, Elithien, stepped closer, handing Phantom a tumbler of Scotch before he turned those piercing dark eyes on me and lifted a snifter. “I hope brandy is suitable?”
“Fine, thanks” My fingers skimmed the cool touch of his as I took the glass from his hand. A flare cut across my mind. An instant headache, pressing in, desperate to find a way…
I don’t think so, Vampire. That dark whisper rose, obliterating the pain with a rush. The Unseelie power throbbed. I didn’t think there was a way for his cold gaze to get any colder, but it did, dulling the glint until there was just nothing…endless, unfathomable nothing.
I was normally good at reading people. I could even get a bit of a handle on the Wolves. But these Vampires were a whole other ballgame. I lifted the glass to my lips and sipped.
“Your quarters are suitable, I take it?” The Vampire aimed the small talk at me.
“Yes, thank you,” I answered. “I appreciate your hospitality.”
“The Unseelie should be here any moment. I take it your friend will be
