head back to look up at him.
“Should have got that last night, huh?”
Nodding my head, I don’t say anything. He watches me for a moment, then his brows pinch together and he shakes his head a couple of times. “How long you think it would take for you to order and have stuff get here?”
“A week, maybe two, depending on how quickly shipping takes,” I admit.
His lips press together before he lets out a sigh. “I don’t got time to take you to Phoenix or Tucson. Guess you’ll just have to look online.”
“Do you have a computer, internet?”
He shakes his head. “Not here. Not yet. Take you to the clubhouse, unless you want to look on my phone?”
I look down at his phone, wrinkling my nose at the sight of his scratched and cracked screen. All I can imagine is the screen cutting my fingers to pieces as I attempt to search, but I’ll do it. Sheets are sheets, it’s not like I need anything special.
“Clubhouse?” I ask feeling hopeful that he’ll oblige.
He frowns with a grunt. Obviously, he doesn’t want to take me down there. He has mentioned that he doesn’t want me there, but I decide not to say a single thing about it. I have a feeling that the only way to get to know him, will be to get to know that part of him.
Mountain grunts, but doesn’t say anything. “You wanna go to the grocery store?” he asks, changing the subject.
“I’m all grimy,” I say, holding my arms out so he can look at my dirty and sweaty clothes.
His lips twitch into a smile, as if he finds this interesting and enjoyable. He sucks his lips in, his dark eyes dancing as he looks at me, watching me, then he shakes his head a couple of times, still acting as if I’m adorably cute.
“Let’s take a shower, get you all cleaned up,” he murmurs, his voice gruff.
“Let’s?” I ask.
He nods his head slowly, turning from me, he walks into the master bathroom. I haven’t cleaned in there, granted I hadn’t cleaned in the hall bath either before I used it today.
“All my stuff is in the other bathroom,” I call out.
Without waiting for him, I turn and make my way toward the hall bath. Leaving the door ajar, I strip out of my dirty clothes, then start the water. I don’t know why I’m doing this, why I told him I was coming in here. I shouldn’t have. I’m practically throwing myself at him by doing this.
I don’t hear him come into the bathroom. Turning around slowly, my lips part in awe at the sight in front of me. He’s standing there, his arms up and his fingers gripping the top of the door casing. He’s completely naked, his muscles taut and flexed as he watches me.
“Mountain,” I breathe.
His lips twitch into a small smile. “Yeah, babe?”
I shake my head, opening the shower door, wordlessly, I step inside of the small stall. He follows me inside, then without a word, I feel him standing behind me. He doesn’t touch me right away, his body so close that I can feel his heat.
Turning around, I let the warm water splash against my back as I look up at him. “Mountain.”
“Said my name just a second ago, babe. What?” he asks, his voice a rumble.
I lick my lips, shaking my head once. “I don’t know,” I admit feeling completely stupid in every way possible.
He dips his chin, his lips hovering above mine, but he doesn’t kiss me, not yet at least. “Babe,” he rasps. “Ain’t nothin’ to talk about, not when we’re like this.”
I don’t say anything else. I don’t need to. His tongue slides across the seam of my lips, his hands grip my waist and without an ounce of effort, he picks me up and presses my back against the warm tile of the shower wall.
He doesn’t even touch me to see if I’m ready for him, he presses his cock against my entrance and without a single hesitation, he slams himself inside of me to the root in one thrust. Ripping my mouth from his, my head falls back against the tile with a thud, as I let out a gasp.
His mouth settles against my throat, his hips staying perfectly still inside of me, this is his way of allowing me to adjust to his size. I don’t mind it, the stretching and burning, the pain feels amazing.
