Trials and Tiaras (Untouchable #7) - Heather Long Page 0,31

room, all of them staring at us owlishly.

Huh.

I hadn’t even noticed.

“I can wait,” Coop said as Archie grinned at me.

“Where do you want me, babe?”

I laughed and, still on trembling legs, pushed him back to the wall. If he wasn’t going to complain about Coop watching, I wasn’t, and frissons of heat lit up my system as I could practically feel his gaze scalding me as I dropped to my knees. “Right here is good.” I glanced up, holding Archie’s gaze. Was this okay with him?

He gave me a slow nod, and then I gripped him. The sudden inhale of his breath promised me he was as sensitive as I was. Oh, this was going to be fun. It wasn’t until fifteen minutes later as I licked my lips and Archie looked as wrecked as I was that Coop cleared his throat.

“So…is it too soon to ask about how you did that thing with your hips?”

Chapter Seven

It Might Be Difficult

Back to school on Tuesday was kind of a surreal experience. Granted, the day before with Archie had been exactly what we both needed. There wasn’t even a protest when Coop crawled into bed after us, and while I wasn’t one hundred percent certain, I thought Archie had watched me give Coop the promised blowjob after our shower. I didn’t see him immediately afterward, but there was a look on Coop’s face that suggested he might have.

Honestly, I was just glad to spend the rest of the evening with them both and to fall asleep pressed right up between them after I talked to Jake and Ian on the phone. They were giving us the night, but we’d see them at breakfast. As promised, they were both there before we even got out of bed. In fact, Jake woke me with coffee that had Archie snarking that Jake was trying to steal his thunder.

The morning just escalated from there with playful one upmanship that kept me laughing all the way to school, and yes, we absolutely stopped for more coffee. I would never say no to two huge cups of coffee in the morning. We also had to get one for Rachel. Ian had new lyric sheets he’d been working on, and he brought me copies because we were going to the studio that night. Archie wanted to come and listen. Ian agreed, but Jake reminded Archie they had their own work to go.

“Secret project,” I intoned, and Archie flashed me a grin.

“Maybe.”

“Uh huh.”

But neither he nor Jake gave away anything in their expressions. Coop, however, flung an arm over my shoulder as he leaned back in his chair. “I think Bubba and I should continue work on our secret project. You want to help us with that, Frankie?”

I almost snorted my coffee out my nose when Ian said, “Agreed. You want to come and listen to us tonight? We can get to work on it right after.”

That earned me a pair of speculative looks, and I had to hide a grin as I took another sip of coffee. Though if today ended up like Sunday, I wasn’t sure how well I’d be walking the next day. Particularly after Monday.

I guessed I could call that my own experiment, so I just grinned. “Whatever you guys want to do,” I said, and that had Archie narrowing his eyes.

“Oh no,” Ian told him, squeezing my shoulders. “You don’t get to be demanding about our project if you’re not sharing yours.”

“Really?” Oh man, the light in Archie’s eyes had me half-laughing, half-groaning. “That sounds like a challenge to me.”

“My lips are sealed,” Coop informed him, yet he still wore an amused look as he stared at the pair of them. “As you both know.”

That’s when both of them focused on me. Jake and Archie both grinned. “And on that note, I have to talk to Rachel.”

Yes, I totally admit it, I escaped.

Well, fled. Yep, totally fled. Rachel was at a table three over from ours with a couple of other girls. One look at my face though, and she said, “Beat it.”

I slid into the chair next to hers, not even caring that I’d displaced these other girls.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

“Nothing, everything. We need a girls’ night.”

She studied me for a beat and then slanted a look over her shoulder. I didn’t even need to turn to know she was looking at the guys. “Do I need to destroy someone?”

I considered that for a minute. “Maybe, but not them. They’re perfect.”

The corners of her
