The Tracker Hive Academy Year One - Avery Song Page 0,75
terror and realize my room was destroyed, requiring me to clean sooner rather than later.
If I waited, it only got worse.
"Shadow Jade?" I quietly questioned.
She paused in her analysis, slowly looking over to us on the bed.
"Me!" She grinned happily at my attention. "Shadow Jade good!"
I blinked and looked around the room once more, wondering if this was a dream or an illusion. "You...didn't destroy anything?"
"No. Kill later. Zeke said I can rip the paper. Rip, rip, rip," she began to sing, returning to stare at the book. Though she said she was going to rip it, I didn't feel as though she had those intentions.
Glancing back at Zeke, I waited for him to ask one of many questions, but he simply stared back at me.
I was sure if I didn't say anything, he'd continue staring. "Why aren't you saying anything?"
"Am I supposed to?" Zeke countered, his eyes trailing down to my lips. "I figure kissing is easier."
I smirked, but I still didn't want to lower my guard just yet.
"You're not freaked out?"
"About?"
"Hmm." I wasn't sure how to articulate what I meant.
Wasn't he turned off by Shadow Jade's presence?
We were both naked under the sheets. I thought anyone else would have been bothered by her intrusion, though she was minding her own business.
She was too concerned with the blank sheets of paper to care about us.
"You think too much. It's too early," he mumbled and kissed me.
I moaned when he moved to hover over me, his hand already slipping between my legs.
"Zeke," I warned. "We still have company."
"Our company is a part of you and knows what we're doing. Besides, I feel she's more concerned with her paper than with me comforting you," he whispered, following with a sucking kiss.
I groaned at his affectionate response, though I didn't want to disturb Shadow Jade either. She did respect me and couldn't have cared less if I had sex right now, but I respected her.
"Wait," I whispered. He paused to arch an eyebrow at me.
I kissed his cheek, finding his impatience a little amusing. "Shadow Jade?"
"Kill?" She looked over to us.
"Do you mind skipping in the hall for a few minutes? I need to tell Zeke something."
"No mind. Skip away."
She got up and placed the book on the table. She walked three steps but looked back at the book.
"You can take the book, Shadow Jade," Zeke offered.
"Rip, rip, rip," she sang, walking back to grab the book. She then skipped to the door, opening it up and walking out into the hall.
I wasn't worried about her causing a commotion. She'd skip around and stare at the blank pages for entertainment until I called her back in.
Once she closed the door, Zeke looked back down to me. "The respect you show your elements is intriguing."
"You don't share the same viewpoint?" I inquired, referring to his two elements.
"We're the same. Whether in physical form or not, they know my intentions before my mind processes them. I don't see the need to tell them to give me privacy, but..." he paused. "Seeing you do it makes me wonder if I should."
"You can try and see how they respond to it?"
"Maybe." He trailed his finger along my folds, making me shiver. "Sex or talk?"
"We can't do both?"
"We could," he admitted, lowering his lips to my chest. "But the order of it depends on you."
I grinned and moved his arm from my legs, knowing if he continued lazily gliding his finger along my pussy, I wouldn't be able to concentrate.
"Talk, then sex," I determined. He smirked and nodded, resting on his side.
"Talk to me, baby." He pulled me closer and I stared into his eyes.
"What's your opinion on hallucinations?"
"Are you specifically referring to hallucinations or my opinion on mental health in general?" he inquired.
From the look on his face, he really was intrigued and I knew he could read me because he picked up the general reason for my question.
"Both."
"Hallucinations happen and shouldn't be ignored or dismissed. Sure, a lot of people can have them based off of their past alone, but you don't know if it's due to a trigger in the environment or seeing a person from your past. Regardless, there's no problem with it. If it becomes a problem and puts the person at risk, I would rather they take medication to control the severity of them, if not eliminate them, but that also depends on the side effects."
"Would...you not like me if I decided to take medication again?"
