Teddy Spenser Isn't Looking for Love - Kim Fielding Page 0,63
his mouth. What would make Romeo arch his back and cry out? Oh, that would. And that. Because it appeared that Romeo was incredibly sensitive to touch, his entire long, perfect body one erogenous zone. And that was with some of the most interesting parts still covered in denim.
“Clothes off!” Teddy didn’t wait for Romeo to give him a strip show, instead taking matters into his own hands by tugging jeans and boxers down—past narrow hips, strong thighs, and long legs. Romeo’s loafers slipped off easily, and Teddy was too impatient to care about his socks.
Teddy took a good long look at what he’d just revealed. “Oh my God.”
Romeo beamed at him. “Yeah?”
“Uh-huh.” That was about as much as Teddy could manage. His mouth had gone dry at the vision on the bed.
“I don’t, uh, do much manscaping.” Romeo waved at Teddy, probably indicating his waxed chest and closely trimmed pubes.
“If I don’t, I’m a dead ringer for Sasquatch. But Jesus, Romeo, you’re perfect exactly as you are.” And not just because he looked beautiful, but also because he was beautiful.
Dammit, Teddy was in way over his head.
Hoping he looked sexy and not walleyed besotted, Teddy lay full-length on top of Romeo. Even though Romeo was several inches taller, they fit together well, skin against skin as if they’d been designed for each other. Romeo was warm, his heartbeat strong, his body solid where it ought to be and giving in all the right places. And oh! Those fingers playing along Teddy’s spine and down to his ass as if Teddy were a computer keyboard and Romeo was programming him to ecstasy.
But then Romeo went still. “I didn’t bring rubbers or lube.”
“Me either. Had no idea we’d need them.”
“We could find a drugstore...”
Teddy lightly booped Romeo’s nose. “If you think I’m getting off you now and putting on clothes, you are sadly mistaken. I bet we can manage without.” He undulated his hips to prove his point. That felt so good that he did it again. And again. By which time he’d forgotten what point he was trying to make, and probably so had Romeo, who was gasping and clutching him close.
They were noisy, but nobody complained. Teddy grew more intoxicated than he ever had on alcohol, absolutely drunk with the sensations that flooded him and the power he held to make Romeo writhe and moan. The best part of all was when Romeo chanted his name—“Teddy, Teddy, Teddy!”—over and over like a wonderful spell. And Teddy knew in his heart that for tonight at least, Romeo wanted him. Not just a convenient lay. Not someone who’d look decent in selfies. But him specifically. Teddy Spenser. Who felt as if he’d been yearning for exactly this for his entire life.
“Oh God—Teddy!”
Afterward they lay tangled together, sweaty and out of breath, Romeo running his fingers through Teddy’s messy hair. “Can I terrify you by admitting something?” Romeo asked softly.
“Um...okay.”
“I’ve never had a real boyfriend.”
Teddy, whose brain was still flying on endorphins, asked, “You’ve had pretend ones?”
Romeo tickled Teddy’s ribs. “I’m spilling my guts here, dude. I mean I’ve never been in a romantic relationship with anyone. I’ve been on first dates, and I slept with some of them. But I’ve never...” He sighed heavily, and Teddy snuggled even closer.
“I get it,” Teddy said. “My track record’s not much more extensive. But man, I cannot understand why anyone would give up on you after one small taste.”
“Well, maybe because with everyone else, I’ve played a part. Badly. ’Cause unlike you, I was never part of the thespian crowd. And I told you: you let me be me.”
This was a more deeply personal conversation than Teddy had expected. But honestly, if you couldn’t get real with the person you’d just had sex with, the man whose taste still lingered on your tongue, then who could you confide in? “Maybe I played my part too well,” Teddy admitted. “Maybe I even fooled myself.” And now I realize I’m kinda addicted to you.
“What are we gonna do about us then?”
“As in us us?”
“Yep.”
Teddy rolled onto his side and faced Romeo. “Man, when you open up, you’re open. I dunno. I’m... Tomorrow we have to fly back to Chicago and face a big scary future. We’re going to be jobless. We’re going... Shit. I don’t know where anything will be going.”
“But given your druthers, would you want to go there together?”
God, yes. It made Teddy’s heart sing just to hear Romeo ask this, because that meant
