TAKE TWO_ Who says you can't ma - Heather M. Orgeron Page 0,53
up and out of the water.
Until the air hits my nipples, I completely forget that I’m naked. I yelp and throw an arm across my chest and a hand over my lady business.
“Pass me a towel?” I beg, motioning to the beach towels sitting on top of the lounge chair behind him. That no-good bastard takes his time slinging one around his waist then helicopters mine above his head before releasing it into the ocean. “Whoops.”
“Liam Watts! Seriously?” Suddenly I feel like I’m standing in front of a packed auditorium in my birthday suit—like I can actually feel dozens of eyes scorching my bare skin, when in reality the other guests are likely just as interested in what’s going on at our hut as we are with theirs.
“All’s fair in love and war, darlin’.” He grabs our glasses off the deck and turns for the door.
“This isn’t funny! Someone might see me…”
My blood boils as I stare after his retreating form. He turns back, pointing a finger at me and clucks his tongue. “Your move.”
I swear, if my life were a cartoon, plumes of smoke would be billowing from my ears. I’m angry… freaking livid…
Right?
So why am I suddenly vibrating with laughter as I streak across the deck? “I hate you,” I say, slamming into his still-dripping body and pounding my fists into his chest.
He grips my forearms, easily stopping my assault, and backs me up til my heels hit the wood frame of the king-sized bed. All laughter ceases, and my throat grows thick with desire. With minimal effort, he tosses me backward onto the softest mattress to ever touch my body. “You love me,” he growls, climbing in over me.
“Well, yes. But—but, I hate you too.” He smells of sunshine, salty air, and coconut sunscreen. It’s distracting and intoxicating and making my mouth water.
“I’ll take that.” His tongue flicks over my hard nipple and I hiss. “Keeps things interesting.”
“That was totally uncalled for.” I poke my lip out in a pout while my body writhes beneath his expert touch.
With my nipple lightly clenched in his teeth he mumbles, “It wah hilawioush.”
I forget we’re arguing when he resumes his southern trek, peppering kisses and burning a trail down my stomach. I grip the sheets, trembling as he draws nearer to the place I need him most. My pulse races—my blood a rushing current of molten lava, heating every cell of my body in anticipation of what I know is coming.
I can’t seem to find air.
“Liam,” I moan, thrashing against the covers. He moves further still, licking and nibbling and thrusting his tongue at my most sensitive parts, all while massaging my breasts. It’s sensation overload.
I’m begging him to stop… pleading for more… it’s too much. It’s not enough. Screaming and flailing, my back arches up off the bed, and I scream out his name. With my fingers fisted tightly in his hair, I ride the waves of pleasure rocking my core. Liam doesn’t let up—not until my entire world fades to black and the cosmos explode in a galactic supernova.
I went to sleep with Liam’s face between my legs and woke up alone. I’m not really alarmed. He’s always been an early riser. Me, not so much. Factor in the cozy bedding and the breathtaking panoramic view of the lagoon, and I may never leave this bed. He’ll be back for round two eventually.
“Oh, good, you’re up.” The man in question enters from the deck. He’s freshly showered, wearing peach board shorts and a gray tee. His cheeks are sun-kissed, and his eyes seem to have absorbed the teal color of the ocean. In short, he’s fucking gorgeous.
I squint an eye and give him a half nod. “That’s debatable.”
He crosses the room, reaching for my hand. “Come on, I have a surprise for you.”
He seems rather excited, so I don’t think he’s pulling my leg just to lure me from this heavenly cocoon. With a groan, I allow him to yank me from our little love nest. He retrieves a white robe from the closet and wraps it around my shoulders. “Cover up and come outside.”
“What? You mean you don’t want to parade me around naked in the daylight?”
His lips curve into a smirk. I can see him replaying the events of last night in his head. “Man, I got you good.” He chuckles. “But no… this body is just for me.” Liam opens the robe, taking one more look at his toys before nodding and then folding one
