We continue walking on observing the people until we reach the doors. These are automatic so they open for us and we walk out on to a wide corridor with the same stone floor as the stairs we came down.
“Interesting,” he comments.
I glance up at him. “What is?”
“You wouldn’t mind being tied up,” he notes and my breath stills.
“What?”
Releasing my hand, he walks backwards and looks me over.
“You looked uncomfortable when watching the groups but not so much when you were watching the Dom’s with their subs,” he states. “You don’t seem to like anything where more than one person touches you, but I don’t think you’d mind being a sub and submitting your body to a dominant.”

I want to ask him what he means but I hold my tongue realizing I need to be careful with what I say. This guy owns the club. Last night was last night and there’s an obvious attraction between us. But I what’s obvious too is that I look completely out of my element. I don’t doubt that if I look more uncomfortable than I already do, he might get someone else in who can do the job. Someone who’s a better fit. I can’t allow that to happen. So, I keep quiet, remind myself I signed up for this, and allow anxiety to kill me slowly.
“The last stop is just out there,” he says pointing ahead to another set of doors.
“What’s out there?”
“Eden,” he smiles and returns his hand to the small of my back. “That’s where we’ll play tonight.”

When we go through the doors, stepping out into the night I take in the beauty before me. There are Willow trees everywhere and the surrounding light casts a green glow over them. The most breathtaking thing however is the massive waterfall up ahead. It creates an exotic illusion that doesn’t feel like we’re in Chicago anymore.
“You like it?” he asks.
“It’s beautiful. I never imagined this being part of the club.”
“It’s bigger than what people think, wait until you see the hut,” he beams.
He leads me through the grove of trees until we get to a hut that looks exactly like the kind you’d find on an island somewhere. It has a thatch roof and wooden walls. When we step inside it’s like stepping into a fantasy.
Inside is massive with that less is more effect. There’s a bed in the center with a wrought iron headboard. The floor is wooden and leads to a glass wall that has an amazing view of a steamy hot tub.
It’s nice. All of it is nice and I wish I were here under different circumstances.

I slip the mask off my face and gaze at him. “Why did you want me to wear a mask?” I ask.
