The Seduction (Finding Forever #2) - Jessie Jones Page 0,19
the mirror to stand beside the American. Although the Greek model hated to admit it, Gillian Morgan was simply stunning to look at. If Pandora was being honest, she put the Greek to shame. The woman was not only beautiful, but Pandora had heard that she was a doctor. Leave it to John and Patrick to find a woman of Gillian's caliber! What hurt Pandora most was the fact that she had stood back and watched both men interacting with Gillian. She had been with John for several years and had never been able to make him laugh the way the doctor did. John's handsome face was softer…kinder…when he looked at Gillian. Pandora had often dreamed of her British lover looking at her like that and had hoped that he would ask her to marry him one day. Now, because of Gillian, that dream would never come true.
"Well, if it isn't John's little American." Pandora smiled as she eyed her reflection in the mirror. "Sorry about what happened a minute ago. John has never really been able to keep his hands off me." When Gillian said nothing in response, Pandora said, "Oh, forgive me. I'm being rude. My name is Pandora. I'm John's fiancée."
"John's fiancée?" Gillian gasped in surprise as she looked at Pandora. "He didn't tell me he was engaged."
"That's because he isn't," Bailey calmly said as Gillian's eyes darted to her. "Boss man would never marry the hired help."
"I'm not the hired help, you fucking bitch, and you know it!" Pandora yelled as the guard chuckled. "John loves me! We've been together for years, and it's only a matter of time before he proposes. After all, I'm his favorite."
"His favorite what, exactly?" Gillian asked, her expression flat and casual although she felt her blood boiling internally.
"Mistress." Pandora smiled, composing herself. She could tell that she was getting to the American and that made her happy. "He didn't tell you that I live at the manor? He probably didn't think it was important since you won't be staying with us long. From what I understand, you will be leaving once you give John information, is that correct?"
"Yes, actually," Gillian replied as her eyes met Pandora's. The woman was intentionally trying to make her mad, and Gillian refused to give her the satisfaction. Two could play the Greek woman's game. Licking her lips seductively, Gillian leaned against the large vanity. "I wanted to leave tonight, but John insisted that I come to this party. He has been on me…and in me…all night. You know, it's funny. I would think that if you're so important to him, he would have mentioned you at least once. There has been a name crossing his lips tonight, but it hasn't been yours."
"Sweetie," the Greek supermodel said condescendingly, "I've seen at least a hundred women like you come and go. John has women he can call for sex all over the world anytime he wants. There are women who would walk through the fires of Hell to simply suck him off. The only woman who has remained a constant in all of that is me."
"So, do you enjoy playing the role of whore?" Gillian asked with a pleasant smile on her face. "See, right there is the difference between you and me, Pandora. I use my brain to make my money, and you lie on your back. How does it feel to be passed around to all of John's friends like a used tissue? They put their fluids in you and then discard you in the trash. Doesn't sound like much fun to me."
Pandora was seething inside. How dare this bitch talk to her like that! Most women feared her, not only because of her association with John, but because Pandora had made it known that she was the top of the food chain. There was a piece of the Greek woman that was intimidated by Gillian, but she would be damned if she would let her know! Hiding her anger with a smirk, Pandora said, "Well, if lying on my back means that I keep John and Patrick, then I'm fine being whatever they want me to be. Now if I heard right from the manor staff, you have been in John's home all week and he is just now fucking you. Hmm…maybe you're a pity fuck. You are a little on the fat side. Kind of plain to look at too."
Pandora's words struck Gillian to the core. A piece of her soul sank
