“Goddammit. Where’s Tatum?” I grunted, scrubbing a hand down my face as Blake shrugged and closed his eyes again, clearly deciding on more sleep.

I pushed myself up with a frown and found Saint sitting at a small table, drinking coffee while typing away on his laptop. The amused smirk on his lips said he’d just enjoyed that little show though. Asshole.

"Morning," I mumbled, looking around for Kyan and Tatum and coming up blank.

"It is nine twenty-three," Saint said without looking up from his work. "Hardly what I would refer to as morning."

"What do you want me to say then?" I asked, getting out of bed and stretching as I tried to work a kink out of my neck.

"Kyan brought some clothes for us," Saint said, glancing at me with the hint of a sneer and I rolled my eyes as I headed over to the neatly folded clothes on the chair that he was pointing at.

"What's the matter? The sight of my dick offends you unless you're watching me stick it into your girlfriend?" I teased and Saint shrugged.

"A flaccid penis dangling about for no reason is just a distraction to the eye," he said casually, turning back to his work. "A solid one making Tatum Rivers come so hard she can't help but scream holds a lot more appeal."

I barked a surprised laugh as I picked up a pair of grey sweats and Saint actually smirked, making me realise he'd been fucking with me. Who'd have thought the devil would have a sense of humour?

I yanked a t-shirt on too, then moved over to the table to snag myself some toast and a cup of coffee from the spread that had been freshly laid out for us. I must have been really out of it to have missed Martha or whoever delivered this, but I knew Kyan had said she’d be leaving a breakfast cart out overnight so I was guessing Saint had wheeled it in. I wasn't complaining but it was fucking weird to have that kind of service in your damn house. Food that magically showed up when I wanted it was one rich person perk I could get used to.

"Where are Kyan and Tatum?" I asked and Saint shrugged.

"They left to find the food, but the food arrived and they didn't return with it. My guess is that they've either been waylaid by Kyan's grandfather or he's fucking her somewhere as we speak."

I clucked my tongue, glancing towards the door as I made swift work of my toast and Saint continued typing. He didn't seem to mind me talking to him, but he was clearly in the middle of something and I was hungry to get more of a look at this crazy mansion anyway.

"I might go find them," I announced as I got up, draining the last of my coffee.

"Be sure to be mindful of your tongue if you run into an O'Brien," Saint said. "They really are a brutal bunch of thugs and you, my dear Nash, are easy to dispose of. Don't give them a reason to make you into a corpse."

"Aww, I didn't know you cared so much, sweetheart," I teased as I pulled the door wide and just before I could close it again, his reply reached me.

"Yes you did."

I grinned before I could stop myself then headed off down the corridor, trying to remember which way we'd come to get here last night.

I walked down long hallways and short ones, took stairs up and down and opened a few doors, finding things from a games room to a library, but I didn't come across another living soul.

This house was so fucking big that I swear I'd gotten lost more times than I ever had while figuring out my way around Everlake Prep, and after a while the thrill of exploring it wore off, making me want to head back to our room.
