A Little Bit Wicked - Melissa Foster Page 0,82

my bed.”

He carried her to the bed and stripped back the covers with one hand. He remained buried deep inside her as he lowered them to the sheets. The emotions pooling in his eyes were like fertilizer to the feelings blooming inside her. She knew she’d always remember every second of tonight, from the look in his eyes and the feel of his body pressing down on hers to the sweetest, most unguarded smile forming on his lips. In that moment, everything changed. The air grew thicker, their bodies moved slower, and their kisses were less urgent and frantic. They were smoldering and potent, laced with a dreamy intimacy. This wasn’t sex as she knew it. This was two people bound together, transported to a higher plane where only they existed.

He pushed his hands lower, clutching her bottom, and quickened his efforts. His touch burned her skin. Her nails dug into his arms. She felt him swell impossibly bigger inside her with every thrust. Desire filled her up like smoke from a fire, seeping into every crack and crevice, until it inhabited her entire being. Tingles riddled her from the tips of her scalp all the way to the ends of her fingers and toes. With his next thrust, she bowed up beneath him, an electric shock scorching through her, and she cried out into their kisses. Her hips bucked, and her sex clenched around him like a vise. In the clutches of his own powerful release, Justin tore his mouth away, buried his face in her neck, and growled her name with so many emotions, it must have been steeped in them.

When they finally collapsed to the mattress, their bodies glistening from their efforts, Chloe’s mind was a whirlwind of lust and desire, and something so much bigger, she couldn’t even try to define it. Moonlight streamed through the glass wall as their breathing calmed, their bodies intertwined, hearts beating as one. Justin pressed warm, tender kisses to her cheek, neck, and shoulder, each one sending shivers of heat along her skin.

He rolled them onto their sides, holding her close, and gazed deeply into her eyes as he whispered, “Stay with me tonight.”

“There’s no place I’d rather be.”

Chapter Thirteen

IF HEAVEN WERE a place on earth, Justin found it Sunday morning when he awoke with Chloe sleeping safely in his arms. Her cheek rested on his chest, her arm was draped over his stomach, and her soft curves were nestled against his side. She’d dozed off shortly after they’d made love last night, and he’d lain awake for a long while, riding the high of being with the woman he’d waited so long for. He’d finally fallen asleep, only to wake a couple of hours later, both of them insatiable for each other once again.

Sunlight poured in through the glass wall just like it did every morning, but his room felt different. He felt different. Making love to Chloe had been even more incredible than he’d imagined. He hadn’t been prepared for the soul-searing emotions that had engulfed him the moment they’d first come together. He’d been certain it was just the build-up of wanting her for so long, but he’d been struck with the same overwhelming sensations when they’d made love again.

He kissed her forehead, hoping she wasn’t going to slip back into feeling weird about them, but he sensed they were past that.

Her eyes fluttered open, and she tipped her face up. “Hi,” she said sleepily.

“Good morning, beautiful.” He skimmed his hand down her hip, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Did you sleep okay?”

“Mm-hm. You wore me out,” she said sweetly. Her gaze moved around them, and she said, “I’ve never started my day with a man before, much less in his bed. I can’t believe we’re here.”

“Here as in my bedroom, or here as in together?”

A mischievous look rose in her eyes as she said, “Both. I had the best time last night getting to know your family and meeting Sidney. I loved seeing the dogs and playing with Shadow.” She rolled onto her back, holding the blanket over her chest as she sat up, scoping out his room.

“And…?” He went up on his elbow and kissed just beneath her shoulder.

“The pizza was pretty good, too.”

“The pizza, huh?” He snuck his hand beneath the sheet and pulled her onto her side against him. “Seems to me you enjoyed more than the pizza, heartbreaker.”

“Oh yeah,” she said casually. “The orgasms were out of this world. Thanks for those.”
