just move on and pulled up the Instagram app on my phone, navigating to the live feature.

“Ready?” I asked, my finger hovering in front of the button that would broadcast our faces to my followers.

“Sure.” He shrugged, his shoulders rubbing against mine with the movement.

So I tapped the round button, and a moment later, our faces were reflected on the screen. The notification came on saying that we were live to my fifty-thousand viewers.

My heart raced immediately, as it did every time I did one of these videos.

I had done several, so it shouldn’t make me as nervous as it did, but I was breathless as I started talking to the few people who were already jumping on the livestream with us.

“Hello, everyone,” I said, lifting my hands in a wave. “Welcome to our live video tonight. I’m so excited for what we have planned for you this evening. And I’m so happy to have Chad on here with me again.”

I turned to Chad who was still sitting back in his chair, as relaxed as ever.

“Happy to be here.” Chad gave the camera one of his charming smiles and draped his arm over my shoulder. “I’m excited to play this game you’ve got planned for us tonight.”

While I couldn’t help but be a little on edge when I had random strangers watching me, Chad couldn’t be more at ease. But I guess for someone who flew around the country almost every week to give presentations in front of CEOs of big companies, this really was a low-stress thing.

I looked back to my phone and smiled even bigger before saying, “Well, if Chad’s excited, then I hope that means it’s going to be entertaining for you all.”

“From what you tell me, though—” Chad squeezed me closer to him and gave me one of his most charming smiles. “—it sounds like a good portion of tonight’s entertainment value depends on them, am I right?”

I smiled, loving this playful side of Chad. “I guess that is true.” And when I saw that we had two hundred viewers who had already joined us, I went on to explain our game.

“So without further ado, let’s get on with this show.” I leaned forward and squinted so I could see the various comments populating my screen. Lots of people were saying hi. Others were commenting on how cute Chad and I were together.

Some were asking where I got my earrings from. But then, after a few seconds the questions started coming through.

* * *

@kyliewinters880: Who kissed who first?

@meredithmelrose: Are you going to get married, because if not, I totally volunteer to marry Chad!

@jeffandrachel: How long did you know each other before you went on your first date?

Question after question came through as I tried to decide which one to answer first.

I looked at Chad and pointed at a comment. “Should we go with that one first?” I asked.

He removed his arm from my shoulders and leaned forward. After reading what I had indicated, he said, “Sure. That works for me.”

“Okay, awesome.” I looked back at the screen. “So, the first question we’ll answer for you today is, who kissed who first? And do you want to answer first, or should I?” I nodded at Chad.

“I’ll go.” He stared at the phone screen. “It was obviously me who kissed her first.”

“He’s right.” I smiled, remembering our first kiss. Then I explained, “It was my second week here in Denver. I had just gotten a new job at the salon and all the girls wanted to have a girls’ night at the club. When they asked me how long it had been since I’d had a boyfriend, and when I told them I hadn’t had a serious one since high school but just random guys that I’d dated here and there, they were all shocked and basically dared me to go talk to the cutest guy at the bar.”

“Which was obviously me.” Chad winked. “And thank goodness, since what guy wouldn’t want to kiss a babe like Arianna?”

“You know it.” I grinned back, remembering just how good he had looked that night as well. “I wasn’t really looking for a relationship at the time, but after just one conversation with Chad, I was hooked.”

“What can I say?” He shrugged, a hint of pride in his face. “I make a pretty good first impression.”

“Yes, you do,” I said. “Anyway, we talked and danced all night at the club, and then before he left, he asked for my
