okay with me saying we’re just screwing around?” I asked.

“That was a lie. You love me, Lita. I love you. You can tell anyone anything you want to feel good about yourself. But everyone knows we’re crazy in love. But the decent cock thing…”

I reached up and touched his face. “I just wanted to see what would make you get pissed off. Now I know. Forget your pretty face or your rock star attitude. I just need to think a little more… down…”

I moved my right hand down his body and cupped between his legs.

Shane grinned and curled his lip. “If you wanted my cock, you could have just asked for it.”

“This is more fun,” I whispered. “And it just proves something.”

“What?”

I moved to my toes and squeezed my hand tighter to the growing bulge between his legs.

“I own your ass, Shane,” I said.

“You’re not grabbing my ass, Lita.”

“I own your cock,” I corrected myself.

His hands touched my hips. “You also own my heart. Good luck with that.”

There was an explosion of laughter from inside the studio.

“Do you want to go back in there?” I asked.

“Fuck no,” Shane said.

“I’m not sure I can wait until we get home…”

His hands slid under my shirt, touching bare skin.

I was on fire.

Shane grinned even bigger.

He grabbed my hand from between his legs and walked down the hallway even more. We were swallowed up by the darkness.

He opened a door and gently nudged me into the room.

I heard the door shut and lock.

Then his hands were all over me.

I managed to get my phone and turn on the flashlight.

It was some kind of waiting room or whatever.

There were couches, tables, a small fridge…

I put my phone on the table and Shane picked me up.

We started to kiss.

I could have stayed like that all night with him.

Just kissing.

But he was a rock star.

He always wanted more than just some kissing.

Epilogue

SHANE

Wedding day.

Five damn weddings all in one shot.

On Christmas Eve.

Only something Filthy Line could pull off.

I wore my best jeans, cleanest white shirt, and a black suit jacket over that.

As far as Lita went, when I saw her in the black dress, I made the decision to skip the wedding and spend the rest of my life stripping her out of that dress, fucking her, then making her put the dress back on so I could do it again and again.

The second she saw me looking at her, she put her hand to my chest.

“Calm down,” she said.

“What?”

“I can see it in your eyes. I appreciate it, Shane.”

“So you know how beautiful you are?” I asked.

“Shut up. We have to leave.”

I took her hand and we went outside where a black car was waiting for us.

The wedding took place at a winery.

With rolling hills.

A picturesque kind of day.

One thing I had to agree with Lita about was that it did not feel like Christmas at all. It was sunny, kind of warm, just another regular California kind of day.

There were rows and rows of seats.

Lita and I were escorted right to the front.

Lita sat at the end. I sat next to her.

I bumped elbows with someone and when I looked, I laughed.

“Shane.”

“Linx.”

“They recruited you too?” Linx asked.

“Yeah, man,” I said. “I’ve been playing guitar. Dex messed up his hand.”

“Right,” Linx said. “Crazy being back out here. Crazy they’re all getting married.”

I leaned forward and saw someone sitting next to him.

“What about you?” I asked.

Linx put his arm around the woman. “This is Elsie. She’s the most talented painter in the world. She’s the most amazing person I ever met.”

“Nice to meet you,” I said.

“Elsie, this is Shane. We go way back. Old school rock star days.”

“Hey, Lita,” I said. “This is Linx. And Elsie.”

Lita smiled and waved.

“What are you up to?” I asked Linx.

“Selling out coffeehouses in New York City,” Linx said with a smile. “Making next to nothing. But I get to watch Elsie live out her dream. Sometimes being on the side of the stage isn’t so bad.”

Linx and I caught up a little more and then the wedding started.

It was like nothing I had ever seen before.

Filthy Line walked down the aisle, each one smiling.

Then came the brides.

One by one, each in different gowns, all walking down the aisle to get married to rock stars.

Toby was the one officiating the wedding.

His first remarks…

“I’ll get this out of the way right now,” Toby said. “If anyone has any reason why these weddings shouldn’t happen…”

Everyone raised their hands and laughed.

“Let me finish,” Toby said. “If
