then nodded to herself and stood. “Since this isn’t a formal session, I have something I need to say to you both.”
That can’t be good. He looked over at Vic, who was giving him a slightly panicked look in return.
“Xori, before you say any—” she raised her hand and he stopped talking. He’d said more than enough already.
“You both feel like you failed yourselves, and each other.” She looked at them, her eyes mild. “You’re both fraxxing idiots. Stop blaming yourself for what happened. Blame that bitch Ariel, instead.”
Her statement hit like a hammer, driving home a point she’d tried to make more than once in far gentler terms. This time, he heard her. He was on his feet and had her in his arms as fast as he could move. There’d been no thought process other than the need to hold her and tell her how amazing she was. “You…” was all he managed to say before his mouth crashed down on hers, and words didn’t matter anymore.
She kissed him back, rising on her toes, her hands tangling in his hair as she tugged him closer. His cock hardened so fast it was almost painful, and when she moaned his name against his lips, he dropped a hand to her ass and hauled her in tight against his body so she could feel how she affected him. He needed her to understand, because there was no one else in this starsforsaken universe that could make him this crazy. He didn’t deserve her. He certainly couldn’t keep her. But tonight, he was going to have her so he wouldn’t have to walk back into the darkness without at least one memory to hold on to.
She’d known how tonight would end. At least, how she’d hoped it would. The three of them together in ways she’d only dreamed about. She could feel their tension, the crackle of anticipation, and the low thrum of desire that buzzed around them both. She sensed darker things, too, mixed up with the need and sudden madness that seemed to have infected them all.
Vic stepped in behind her, his hands moving across her shoulders, then along her flanks to rest on her hips, Ward started undoing her hair, gently teasing it loose from the magnetic clasp holding it in place. She’d done it on purpose, knowing Ward would want to undo it the way he’d threatened to so many times in their sessions.
He drew her hair over her shoulder, lifting a handful to his lips, and then rubbing it across his cheek.
Behind her, Vic dusted kisses soft as snowflakes over the newly bared skin at the nape of her neck.
“Tell us what you need, little star, and we’ll make it happen.” Ward coiled a strand of her hair around his finger, using it to draw her in for another scorching kiss.
These huge, dangerous males had her caught between them, and it was the most intoxicating feeling in the world. Their bodies were hard, and she could feel their cocks pressing into her like twin steel bars, but their touch was gentle and their kisses made her feel like she could fly. An idea kindled in the back of her brain. “Tink. Can you lower the gravity in here, enough we can float but still have some control?”
There was a brief pause before the AI answered. “I can. I will need to secure all furnishings and extend containment fields over loose objects. Do you wish me to proceed?”
“Yes.”
“Proceeding. Gravity will change in five seconds. Five-four-three-two-one.” There was a single, unified clunk as the magnetic clamps on every piece of furniture activated at once. Her stomach did the familiar drop and flutter that happened every time she’d been in micro-gravity.
“Interesting idea,” Vic murmured, his voice rich with amusement and arousal.
“You are full of surprises, little star of mine,” Ward kissed her softly, then looked over at his brother. “Up?”
“And over,” Vic agreed.
Before she could ask what they meant by over, Ward pushed off and they rose into the air, spinning slowly. Xori had to lock her gaze on the viewport to give her mind something to focus on while the rest of her struggled to come to terms with the loss of up and down.
It didn’t seem to bother Ward or Victor, but they’d been created with an awareness of how to function in all sorts of environments, including Zero-G.
The spinning slowed, then stopped, leaving them floating prone in an open area of their suite while keeping the
