question. I palmed my face and slunk my way to the door. Once I unlocked it, I flung it wide.

He curled an arm around my waist, dragging me close, and I noticed his shoes and socks were gone, since I was looking down. He touched his nose to my neck, taking in a deep breath. “You smelled good before, but angel, whatever shampoo you use, I want to bathe in it.”
A shiver swept over me—from his rough tone, from his warm hands on my waist, and from how close he was. He pulled back, our eyes meeting, and slowly he leaned in. When our mouths touched, my body heated. When we opened, to taste, to tease our tongues against each other’s, I gripped his arms and held on to just feel him.
And I did.
I felt his hands as he slid them to my bottom and gently squeezed. I jumped, and Cody caught me with ease while I wrapped my arms around his neck and trailed kisses down his jaw, his neck, and back up again.

“Anything?” I asked with a smile. I definitely had something in mind, and I wouldn’t… well, I didn’t want to become shy about it because I really wanted to see him without a top on. My pussy throbbed from the thought of his golden skin under my hands.

Scraping my top teeth over my bottom lip, I asked softly, “Can I take your tee off?”
His grin was wicked and had me melting. He cocked his head to the side and asked, “As long as I can with yours?”
My belly lit with fireworks of pleasure. “Deal.” I dropped my hands to the hem of his tee, then paused. “Wait… we should get a certain talk out of the way first.”
He stilled and jerked his head back in confusion. “Talk? Now?”
“Well, yes. I have an IUD in and have always used protection. There was only one other guy, and I didn’t really like it—” His hand covered my mouth.
“Angel,” he groaned. His jaw clenched. “Good to know, but I’d prefer not to know about the other guy. Obviously he was a dickhead who didn’t know shit, but if I have more information, I’m gonna want to hunt the fucker down and kill him.”
Whoa, he sounded serious.
Really serious.
“Okay,” I mumbled behind his hand. “D-Do you mind if… I mean… I would like to feel you for the first time.”
His gaze darkened, his chest rumbled with a growl, and he nodded. Shifting his palm to the side of my neck, he said, “Always been smart. But I got tested not that long ago. We’re safe, and I’d love to be bare inside you.”
Um, yay. “Awesome,” I stated with a stupid smile and then dropped my gaze to my hands still at the hem of his tee. I would have taken it slowly, but I was never good at unwrapping anything leisurely. Cody chuckled when I whipped it up and off him with a fling. I stared, I may have drooled a little, and I touched… oh yes, I touched his smooth, warm, amazing skin at his chest, his arms, his shoulders, and stomach, which quivered under my fingers.
“You’re drivin’ me crazy, angel.”
His fingers brushed over my sides where he’d gripped my tank top, and I giggled. Wide-eyed, I slapped a hand over my mouth, but it was too late. His grin turned into a smirk.
“Ticklish?”
I shook my head, only to laugh more when he tested my lie. “Stop,” I yelled. “Please,” I begged. With all the commotion, the dogs decided they wanted in on it and raced into the room.
“Bed,” Cody ordered, and they did, though they looked pretty pissed. I felt bad for a millisecond until Cody took my attention when he cupped my cheeks and brought my gaze up to his. “Need you on the bed as well, angel.”
