Collaring Chaz (Dante's Infernal #2) - Joel Abernathy Page 0,37
to consensually be someone else's bitch in a controlled setting, and another to let people walk all over you in real life. I just wasn't sure how to get that across to him without hurting him more.
"Dante is a diva, and he always has been," I said, choosing my words carefully. "If you don't set boundaries with him, he'll take the whole damn mile and then some. He treats you like shit because he's an asshole, sober or not, but also because you let him."
"He doesn't treat me like shit," he mumbled. "I get why he's pissed. I fucked up."
"By what? Not being a human metronome who's also capable of reading his mind when it changes every three seconds?" I challenged.
It was obvious he didn't have an answer for that, so he shifted gears. "It's not a big deal," he said with a shrug. "Really, we’re about to go on tour. I'd rather just keep the peace."
"That's not your job," I said, trying to stifle my frustration because I knew he would assume it was directed at him and not the situation. "He owes you an apology at the very least."
"We're friends, he doesn't need to apologize."
"That's all the more reason he should apologize," I insisted, brushing a few tousled strands of hair back from his forehead. "You deserve better than that. I’m not trying to upset you, I just hate that you won't stand up for yourself."
"That's why I have you," he said in a dry tone, leaning in to kiss me.
"Oh, I'll do a hell of a lot more than that," I muttered against his lips. Maybe it was about damn time I did, too. I'd only been holding back because every time I tried to intervene on his behalf, he begged me not to and started playing the devil's advocate. If he was serious about being mine, though, in and out of the playroom, the devil was in for a rude awakening.
Chaz pulled back, his eyes widening in fear. "Please don't say anything," he said quickly. "I promise, I will if it happens again."
I was torn between pushing him and being a hypocrite myself, about to err on the side of taking that risk when he rose up on his knees, slipping his arms around my neck with a coy little smile that took the breath out of my lungs.
"We could pick up where we left off," he said, running his fingers through my hair. The way he played me put my musical abilities to shame, but as he rose up and positioned the tip of my cock at his entrance, I didn't even care. "Waiting a while won't kill him."
"I guess that's progress," I muttered, pulling him in for another kiss. He moaned against my lips as he lowered himself enough to take me in a little past the tip.
"Fuck," I growled, my fingertips biting into his hips as he started riding me. The pain in his expression was mingled with pleasure, but he'd been sucking my dick long enough to make it a little easier than before. "You're a manipulative little fuck, you know that?"
I was all the way inside him now, so he leaned in and started kissing my neck, his arms still wrapped tightly around me. Manipulation or not, it was working, because soon, all I could think about was how good it felt to be inside him, his tight hole clenching around me, his little sounds against my throat every time the pressure on his spot became too much for him to bear in silence.
He leaned back as we both drew closer, his eyes falling shut and his head back in bliss. His teeth were biting into his bottom lip like they always did when he was about to come, so I wrapped my hand around his shaft and started pumping as he rode me.
We were always in sync, but this time, it was so perfect, we came in unison.
"Raf," he panted, grinding against my lap as the last waves washed over us both, going still as soon as it became unbearable. The sound of my name on his lips in that breathless, pleasured voice was enough to make me forget all about Dante, the band, even the tour.
For now. No matter what Chaz hoped, this conversation wasn't over, it was just tabled. If he couldn't see he deserved better, I was going to have to show him.
Chapter 13
Chaz
The drive to the studio was kind of awkward. For me, at least. Raf
