She had to remember her place. We reached my cabin, which was pretty far from Thorn’s and Reid’s. I’d chosen to build it here, at the foot of one of the tallest peaks, where a mountain stream crossed my backyard and I had direct access to clean, fresh water. At night, the sound of the flowing water as it rushed over the rocks soothed me and helped me disconnect from my daily troubles. It had been the one thing that had kept me sane since Chase had died and we’d turned Isabel into our plaything.
I opened the door, threw her inside, and walked in after her. She landed on the floor in the middle of the room. She sat up on her hands and knees and stared at me with those big, blue eyes. She must’ve had a dozen questions, and I hoped she wouldn’t start asking them, because I didn’t know how I could answer. Maybe she thought I would fuck her again. I paced the room, going in circles around her, as if she were the prey and I was the predator. I ran a hand through my short hair. I could hear her heart picking up the pace in anticipation. What was I going to do to her? She didn’t know. Maybe because I wasn’t sure myself. She was here now. I’d taken her from Thorn, and she was in my cabin and completely mine for the next few hours. I could do anything to her, and she wouldn’t fight me. For some reason, the fact that I had full control over her was driving me crazy today. But I had to do something, anything… or she would start to doubt my authority.
“Stay here,” I said as I headed back out. “I won’t lock the door. Wait for me.”
She nodded. I slammed the door shut behind me, closed my eyes, and took a deep breath in. As I released it, I felt a little better. On the one hand, I was afraid she’d run away again. Seeing how my cabin was at the edge of the village, she might even have a better chance this time. On the other hand, I was pretty sure she wasn’t going to do it. I felt hungry all of a sudden, and not for cooked food. I removed my clothes, shifted, and rushed toward the woods. I spent the next few hours hunting, running, howling at the sky, and feasting on a young deer. When my hunger was appeased, I found a steam and drunk from it. I felt alive, strong, invincible. A human female was waiting for me in my cabin, and the thought aroused me. She didn’t know what would happen today… tonight. She could only try to guess what I had planned for her, and that made me become convinced that I needed to surprise her. Shock her. I needed to do something that would push her to the limit, that would make her do something she’d immediately regret. I wanted her to act irrationally, so everyone would see who she truly was. She’d fooled Thorn, Reid, and even Mama Rose. Not me. I was going to bring out the worst in her and enjoy every second of it.
I returned to the village, shifting as I passed the first few cabins. I felt good in my own skin. I’d eaten well, drunk the purest water in these mountains, and my muscles ached pleasantly after a good run. The females of my pack watched me with unabashed interest. I’d fucked all the young, single she-wolves already, and I’d had even some of the females who were later mated to the Betas. No hard feelings, of course. It was all natural. The Betas knew the Alphas of a pack had every right to fuck anyone they wanted as long as the females hadn’t been mated yet. Once they were, the past was in the past.
I loved the effect I had on them. I could smell their cunts getting wet at the sight of my massive, scarred body. My cock hardened. Their awe and admiration made me want to rut all of them right then and there. Maybe this was what I needed. Maybe this was the way to break Isabel completely. I looked around, and my eyes fell on a tall, athletic goddess with big breasts and long legs. She had short black hair, and her skin was tanned from spending so much time in the sun every day. Layla.
