back, then into my thighs. Tianna was wild—primal, biting my neck, my shoulders, my nipples.
I twisted her in the ways I desired, listened to her cries of passion only to let her fall, catching her on the way down, and doing it all over again.
“Maksim?”
“Yes, baby?” I licked at her neck as I pulled from her and turned her to face the wooden headboards.
She mewled in response and I entered her again.
Tianna tossed her head back and I slipped a palm around her, up over her breasts and to the soft, pulse of her throat. Leaning forward, I kissed her ear, down to her neck, then the spot behind her ears. She came again and slumped forward against the headboard.
Still, I rolled my hips into her, seeking my end, willingly courting my end.
A loud clunk filled the space around me, but I paid it no mind.
Nothing else mattered except her and I—nothing else but the moment we were in.
Nothing.
My orgasm twisted my frame in unexpected ways. It left me shaking while my entire being floated above me. Weak and covered in sweat, I tumbled to the bed which crumbled to the floor beneath the sudden shift of my weight.
Tianna laughed but rested against my chest. “This is your house, right?”
“Yes. Why?” I kissed her head.
“We broke the bed.” She pulled the sheets up to her chest and sat up to look down into my face.
She’d been right. My head was now lower than the rest of my body, but I didn’t have enough strength to really do anything about it.
Tianna Sharp was beautiful.
Her hair was a mess, her dark skin covered in a light sheen of perspiration, her shoulders bare shoulders begging to be kissed—she was beautiful.
I closed my eyes.
“Please don’t regret what we’ve done.” Her voice wavered.
For a moment, I didn’t move. It took me a little time to try working out what I heard in her voice. When I looked up at her, she turned away and tried scrambling out of the bed with the sheets still wrapped around her. One end was under my body and she went tumbling to the floor. I rolled to the edge of the bed and it shifted under me, the rest of it clunking to the floor.
I laughed. “You okay?”
“Nothing bruised but my ass and my ego.” She scoffed then sighed. “I’m fine.”
“One of those things I can kiss better.”
She hissed at me.
I smiled down at her but didn’t move to help her up. “Look, Anna…I don’t regret it.”
She stared at me.
“Okay?” I pushed.
Tianna nodded. “You should probably sleep in my room tonight.”
I winked at her.

I didn’t ask how a man like Maksim Demidov knew a place like this. It was where the bottom feeders and the idiots went to dwell. It was the darkened bottom of the barrel, the dregs of society. I drew closer to his side, trying to walk straight but also trying not to let every little movement in the corner of my eyes freak me out.
The heavy door clanged close behind me and I gripped his hand.
“Stay close.” Hermes told me. “Let me do the talking.”
I had no problems with that. Even though the space was anything but full, I didn’t want to take any chances.
But Hermes entered the spot in a way that turned me on. He walked with a poise and power, I couldn’t help being attracted to. I used that to take my mind off the stench of stale beer and body odor swirling around my head.
Eventually, he stopped.
The man in the seat half buried under partially nude female bodies, looked up and I saw the moment the fear of God entered him. He shoved the women away and surged to his feet. I knew he was trying to run but he didn’t get far. Hermes grabbed him by the back of the neck and slammed him into the leather booth.
The girls stared at Hermes who gave them as much attention as a fly about to be crushed under his foot. One girl exhaled and Hermes shifted to glare at her.
“Shoo!” He said.
They scrambled away from the table and Hermes sat.
I didn’t. My body couldn’t seem to hear a thing my brain was saying except for panic.
Hermes took my hand and gently tugged me into the chair beside him then leaned in to speak to the terrified man on the other side.
“I’ve stayed off your radar, Hermes.” The man stammered. “Why are you here?”
“Joseph Sharp.” Hermes replied. “Speak.”
“Come on, man. He’s nothing
