this perfect man had waited for me, that I had been his first and only lover. I’d never once thought about my mate coming to me that way, but knowing it did things to me, emotionally. Knowing I was the only woman in the world who’d ever touched him intimately, made love with him. I’m sure it was similar to how he felt knowing he was my one and only, too.
He brought me to pleasure three more times, and I barely managed to muffle my cries. I was on my hands and knees when the last orgasm hit me, leaving me in a boneless puddle on the mattress. Hannibal held my hips up while he thrust toward his release. He came with a grunt, and as his seed hit my womb, the vision hit me. I mumbled into the pillow, but my words were hidden from my mate. It wasn’t until he collapsed atop me that I turned my head, and he got a look at my pupils. He immediately rolled off me, pulling me onto his chest while one big hand stroked soothingly up and down my spine.
“What did you see?”
I smiled, dropping my lids closed as I nuzzled into him.
“Bee?” he prompted when I didn’t answer immediately.
“It was a good one,” I promised.
“Can you share?”
I appreciated him asking me that. Sometimes, I had visions about those around us, and some of them could be personal in nature to those people. Not that I’d kept any secrets from my mate, but I loved that he always asked. And he never spoke of what I shared with him.
I propped my chin on my hands and stared at him. “How many kids did you say you wanted?”
He gave me a strange look but answered. “As many as you want. Why?”
“I’m pretty sure Oliver’s going to have a sibling in another nine months.”
“What?” Hannibal immediately sat up and pulled me into his lap, palming my belly with wonder. “You saw a baby?”
“Do twins run in your family?”
“Twins?” He swallowed as his gaze bounced between my face and my belly.
He’d worried himself almost sick during my pregnancy with Oliver. Driving me and everyone else crazy as he made sure I had everything I needed or wanted and some things I’d never even considered. He’d tried to coddle me and even carried me around whenever he’d decided I’d been on my feet too long. It had been funny at first. Romantic even. Then it had gotten on my nerves. His mom had stepped in several times to help me keep my sanity.
“Boys,” I answered his unspoken question.
“Three boys.” I saw the excitement on his face stray toward worry and felt the need for a subtle reminder.
“Hannibal.”
“Anything you want, baby. Name it, and it’s yours.”
“I love you more than anything in the world.”
“I love you, too, baby.”
“But if you pull half the stuff you did when I was pregnant with Oliver…” I stopped midsentence and shook my head. I already saw the plans forming in his mind. He was going to drive me absolutely crazy again. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
